In this Interactive Experience, the user navigates various corridors with unique atmospheres and unexpected interactions. Based on the philosophical concept of solipsism, the reality surrounding the user is reduced to their own interaction with the space—or so it seems. The project also draws inspiration from themes such as determinism and free will, reflected in objects that behave in unpredictable ways.
There is also a subliminal narrative intention, reinforced by the presence of recurring elements throughout the different corridors.
This project was carried out as part of the Computation Multimedia - 9904L002 course subject at the Faculty of Fine Arts, with the assistance of lecturers teachers André Sier and Miguel Soares. The project, initially based in the corridors of the faculty, took on a different form as it was being conceived. Although elements of the faculty are still present in the Interactive Experience, the main aim of this work is to reflect on philosophical concepts such as solipsism, determinism and free will.
